Hitting Sessions

  • Private Session

    Private training session with Coach Chris and an individualized focus. Drills, HitTrax data capture, HitTrax video capture, front toss, batting practice and pitching machine use are all possibly on the agenda. This session is intended for one student, but students are welcome to bring a single, age appropriate partner and share their time. Private sessions are the foundation of student development. $60 for a 1 hour session.

  • Data Session

    Just want to get some measured reps on HitTrax by yourself or with a friend or friends? Test some bats? Play a friendly competition with a friend or friends? Or maybe you just want lots of opportunities to get on the Lansing U leaderboards?! Coach Chris will operate the data capture, capture any desired video, deliver pitches and facilitate a friendly competition however requested. $60 for a 1 hour session.

  • Group Session

    Age appropriate, small group training session led by Coach Chris and/or staff. Drills, HitTrax data capture, front toss, batting practice, pitching machine use and a friendly competition are all likely on the agenda. Drop in to an age appropriate group as desired. Subscribe to Lansing U (form at the bottom of this page) to be notified of added sessions. $25 to drop in to a 1.5 hour group session.

  • Sandlot Session

    Age appropriate Sandlot sessions give hard working Lansing U students a chance to socialize with fellow students and their friends. Participants will get some warm up reps, divided into equal teams and simulated play using HitTrax will begin. Drop in to any age appropriate session. Subscribe to Lansing U (form at the bottom of this page) to be notified of added sessions. $20 to drop in to 1.5 hour session.

  • Team Session

    Bring your own team/group (up to 12 players) for a training session. Coach Chris will work with you and your coaches to provide a session that includes drills, HitTrax, front toss, batting practice, pitching machine use and a friendly hitting competition/game. $230 for a 1.5 hour session and $300 for a 2 hour session.

  • The Stadium

    Large tunnel (16x70) with HitTrax, several surrounding TVs and a built in, optional divider at 43 feet. Balls, tee(s) and pitching mat included. Responsible pitching machine use included when available. Mound included when available. $50 per hour.

  • The On Deck Circle

    Small tunnel (12x28) with HitTrax and large TV. Balls and tee(s) included. Great, fun and affordable space for tee, side toss and front toss work. $25 per hour.

  • The Bullpen

    Pitching/throwing ONLY tunnel (8x70) with mound, pitching mat, balls and 9 hole pitch pocket included. Great and affordable space to work with pitchers and catchers. $25 per hour.

  • The Campus

    The Stadium, The On Deck Circle and The Bullpen, the whole place! Balls, tee(s), pitching mats, mound, and 9 hole pitch pocket included. Responsible pitching machine use allowed/included when available. $100 per hour.
